Wednesday, 25 August 1999, 4:30 PM - Service Interruption
Connectivity between state government computer networks
and the Internet was suspended briefly in order to
perform maintenance on network security systems. This
interruption affected connections between 159.105.0.0
networks and all outside networks. In addition, all Govnet
servers were inaccessible during this period, including
ftp, ns1, ns2, mail, mx1, mx2, news, ntp1, ntp2, relay,
www, etc. It was also not be possible to initiate dial-in
connections during this period (although existing dial-in
sessions were not otherwise affected).
